Asociacija Association of Arts and Culture NGOs and Freelancers

Formally founded in 2003, Asociacija Association endeavours to improve the working conditions and systemic position of freelance artists and NGOs in art and culture in Slovenia. It advocates up-to-date cultural policies promoting cultural and artistic diversity and providing conditions for equal access to cultural contents. The association joins 50 organisations and numerous individuals. Since 2010, it has hosted and run the BIFC Regional Hub and has participated as a partner of similar organisations from the Western Balkans in projects fostering cultural collaboration and development.
